introduction
TranSentience is a science fiction worldbuilding project developed by ÆMRA and VirtualAffinity. Together, we're committed to providing a deeper glimpse into our own imagined extraterrestrial universe and creating an inspiring harbor for everyone desiring to be a part of it.
The setting unfolds within Ember, a massive galaxy located in the same universe as ours in a speculative future.
The setting delves into a wide range of topics, such as the complexities of extraterrestrial coexistence among sophonts, alien biospheres, conflicts that arise between diverse civilizations, and the exploration of their individual cultures and biology, all of which are divided into various thematics like a sandbox across the galaxy. Among these topics are speculative elements of posthumanism, portrayed in the form of a webcomic following the story of two posthumans set 100-200 years in the future of our present timeline. This narrative experience should allow individuals to explore the alien aspect of TranSentience as a whole through the perspective of two relatable beings.

Keep up to date with our official webcomic to experience TS in a more well-paced act. The comic is updated on a semi-regular basis for now due to time constraints. WIPs and new pages are available early for our supporters, but new pages will gradually go public. If you cannot wait, consider becoming a supporter too! Your support is greatly appreciated and allows us to spend more time on the project and improve as well as expand lore and art at a faster pace.

- A complete and functional homepage with a custom template
- Landing page for our wiki, which is currently WIP
- Various species and character lore. There's much of it. Everything will be released on the wiki in bits from time to time.
- A lot of character and species art. Will always be showcased once finished and added to our gallery.
- Species references. In particular, the primary sophonts that are going to appear in the first several chapters of the comic.
- Character references. Commander Eight, Three, La‘vi, Narius, Sy and Krill. Others will follow.
- A full galactic map, collaborative effort.
- Flags and sigils, also collaborative.
- Guns, tech art. Also collaborative.
- TS Webcomic, currently working on more material for it. Virtual wrote a rough script, currently thinking of necessary visuals for following chapters.
- Planets, maps, environments. That also includes animals and plants for some of them. We are for the most part focusing on the Varek, Sal‘citar, Irdiril, Uru, and Sekito homeworlds right now.
- Crew ship references for the entire ship, including its interiors. It will be a huge collaborative effort between us, therefore it will take a long time. Will be necessary for the webcomic in later chapters when the first characters have been introduced.
- Other species that aren’t that important for now but will be for later chapters or even volumes of the comic.
